The North Bay Ladies Volleyball League (NBLVL)is one of the largest leagues in Ontario with 50 teams and well over 500 members enjoying weekly matches in the gymnasiums of our local public schools. With six divisions in the league, A (competitive), B, C, D, E and F (recreational); ladies have the opportunity to play the sport at various levels of skill and competition.Since its inception in 1978, the league has been a non-profit organization managed by a volunteer Executive Committee. The focus has always been to provide an evening of organized sport, exercise, and camaraderie, for North Bay and area women, during the fall/winter/spring seasons. Regular league play, officiated to the Ontario Volleyball Association Rules and Regulations, is followed by great Play-Off action, and topped-off with the annual social and awards evening. |
